Ingredients 4 large cucumbers, sliced salt and ground black pepper to taste 1/2 cup half-and-half 1/2 cup sour cream 1/2 cup mayonnaise 5 large green onions, thinly sliced 1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix (such as Lipton(R) Recipe Secrets(R)) 1 1/2 tablespoons white sugar 1 tablespoon dried dill weed 1 teaspoon celery salt 2 teaspoons lime juice Directions Arrange cucumber slices in a large bowl, generously seasoning each layer of cucumber with salt and pepper. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3 hours. Drain liquid from cucumbers. Gently press cucumber slices with paper towel to absorb any remaining liquid. Stir half-and-half, sour cream, mayonnaise, green onions, ranch dressing mix, sugar, dill, celery salt, and lime juice together in a small bowl; pour over cucumber slices and gently stir to coat. Totally different than ours. Lotsa ways to do creamy cukes

It's creamy cuke season again here. Ate them twice yesterday and twice today. I'll be sick of them in a month I suppose, but I sure love the first few batches.

They are my favorite summer snack. I peel and slice them and toss them in buffalo sauce and blue cheese. Probably the healthiest snack I eat.

Plain peeled/sliced cukes with some Montreal steak seasoning is a decent (and relatively healthy) snack. Nowhere near as good as creamy cukes though.
Not a fan of blue cheese

Creamy cuke season began here today. The first few batches are always the best it seems

I still haven’t eaten a cuke. My wife is making refrigerator pickles and eating some. My wife tells me she's canning pickles tonight. She'll be canning pickles and salsa off and on until freeze up I imagine.

Bought some "burpless" cukes from Mexico this week. Wife made them into creamy cukes using a new recipe. Best we've had. Nice to have some summertime food in the winter.
