It just dawned on me, the DNR never sent me my bear tooth report. It was supposed to be to me by first week of November. First week of November of which year? Must be too busy dealing with CWD “crisis”

It just dawned on me, the DNR never sent me my bear tooth report. It was supposed to be to me by first week of November. That would be a fast turn around for tooth sample results. In Wisconsin it takes 14 to 15 months.

In Wisconsin it takes 14 to 15 months. Strange. Right on the card they gave me they called out first week of November. Is it possible they meant the following year?

I may have missed it, but are you an outfitter? Are you getting paid for this or do you just like to take people bear hunting? Or both?

Cat if you are referring to me, I have been helping a bear outfitter for a month each year since I retired in 2011. Yes, I was asking you. I guess I knew that but had kind of forgotten. I just knew you put a lot of people on bears and didn't quite know the situation. I've got to say that would be a great way to spend retirement!

Cat if you are referring to me, I have been helping a bear outfitter for a month each year since I retired in 2011. Yes, I was asking you. I guess I knew that but had kind of forgotten. I just knew you put a lot of people on bears and didn't quite know the situation. I've got to say that would be a great way to spend retirement! It is fun but also a lot of work carrying in bait to 21 different baits. Also once season starts it gets to be long days. Start at 6:00 in morning and sometimes not getting done until well after midnight.
