Deer are mowing the clover down pretty good. Season started a couple weeks ago here. You gun guys can try guess the caliber and model of the weapon by the wall.

Are you hunting with an air gun? Well that was quick. 50 caliber Pnue Dart cocked locked ready to sedate if the right fawn walks by.

Out with my 10 year old daughter who voluntarily woke up at 5 to join me. Get out to elevated Blind fine. 6:20 (exactly legal shooting time here) she says “I have to go poop”. Lovely. Get the bucket ready and she goes. Well 20 minutes later the hot salsa from last night is wanting to come out so I decide to use the bucket as well. I was on there for 30 fuckin seconds and look out to see 2 deer coming in. Wipe my ass (standing) and by that point they had started skirting me. Never got a look at their heads but they were big/dark bodied. How many other 30 seconds periods could I have chosen to unload?? They were in range and never spooked but must have known something was up. Unfortunately they were a couple of steps away from my trail cameras to figure out what they were. So many different threads came to life for me this morning from shitting in a bucket (SD), to wiping while sitting or standing... Beautiful morning none the less.

Lol, my first thought (after sizing the buck up) was that your gun looks like what we shoot cattle with. I guess I was right but I had completely forgotten that you do that sort of thing to deer.

Saw 11 this morning, with a good 9 pointer 50 yds away. Coyote took an arrow in the midsection

Out early in my best spot. Wind is perfect and the acorns are dropping.
