I have never seen a Runnings store, much less know where one may be located. There is one in Benson, Marshall, nothing real close to you Stu. i wish they had one in Alexandria... nice store!

New Ulm, Hutchinson, Willmar, Monticello, Lots of smaller county seat towns. They stay in the rural markets....and are great stores IMO. Kinda like a blend of Fleet Farm and Tractor Supply and Schools but with decent quality and affordable goods.

I doubt there will be any Runnings stores in this area any time soon. Maybe in Alex or Brainerd/Baxter I suppose.

In the northland there is L&M Supply.....then Mills FF.....to the east there is Blain Fleet Supply.....then there is Runnings to the south and west. They seldom fish in each others ponds. .

Runnings and Fleet farm in Monti. I am surprised Runnings has lasted. I think they are a better run store with better products. JMO....but I do think they are better equipped for the "real" farmers.

I've been to Menard's exactly one time in the last two years. I used to go once every 4-6 weeks or so.

In fact we do far less shopping in the St Cloud area as we had a few years ago. I will pay a few dollars more at the local hardware store and lumber yard rather than drive to the local ‘metro’. Gas prices will further support that trend.
