I always figured that what I lack in skills as a carpenter....I can make up for with spray foam and caulk! My wife hopped my shit when I started taking a heater to the blind. She asked when I was installing electricity. That sort of concerned me....because the first thing that crossed my mind was a solar panel...and then I had visions of a cat and petting that cat while shitting in a bucket....Damn you SD!

Don't fight it man. With a single battery and solar panel, you could watch football all day on stand. You could even get in some coffee and the morning news before first shooting light.

You could also just run a shallow trench from a central station on your property and have multiple stands wired to a single battery and panel bank. Middle of your property would be a good place for a bedding improvement and solar plot. You could also tee off each blind to run wireless surveillance cams and then network them back to a hub in your basement with a wireless router.

Take the bucket and you can take your morning dump in there as well.

Order of pics is all fucked up, but you get the point.
All parts were free or just crap we had laying around. Mainly "leftovers" Dad has piled in the pole barn.

Actually we took the skis off after we got it to the spot. We had to dig holes to get it leveled. Its our first fully enclosed. Inside dimensions are 50x70. So can get 2 people in to warm up as needed. Windows come fully out which is very nice to get wide open shooting windows end to end. Not an engineering specimen, but its sturdy and seems like it should work. Will be working on another one soon. Not likely to get out for this season, but we are migrating to a couple more enclosed and adding roofs to the others at least. Getting some enclosure is pretty nice at a minimum.

I need to get over and look at Foggy's system for moving stands. If I can get one built that will work with my quick hitch bucket I might go that route for moving stands. The only concern would be moving stands in thick woods, something that tall could be a little tricky. Moving stands on the field edge would not be a problem.
