Nice work, you'll like having a warm place to hunt. Carpentry looks pretty good from here.

I am impressed with the blind though. I want to build one like that with commercial windows, 8x8. Sleepy time would be nice if I could put a twin bed in there.

8 x 8 can be hard to see out of when it gets up in the air. Trade off between comfort and viewing.

I always scored free love seats from craigslist and built windows to suit. Until I found the truck cab. Awesome comfy seat, rear view mirrors, radio, defrost fans, kick ass roll down windows. $150.

Here is our newest one. Still in progress. We are tired of weathering the elements. I would rather be comfy and miss out on a deer cuz I am in REM sleep in warmth. The window panes all come out, so if its nice you can have wide open shooting windows. Dad works construction and has a pile of windows from renovations in his pole barn for many more stands.

I would like a couple like yours too Lee. We just wanted to get at least one fully enclosed one to have room for 2 to meet up to warm up on super shitty days. Gonna be great. We are pretty much building all new stands. Fuck the box on stilts. Roofs help a lot at times.

I like a shelf under the window to lay my rifle on, to read the paper or a magazine, and to put my head down and take a nap.
