Perch are my favorite fish to eat. Jumbos are hard to find, but they are awesome. What kind of breading did you use? Bud light two eggs. Batter into bisquick, back to batter, final coat of panko

Yes! I just cant get into ice fishing any more. Too much BS just to move 50 ft..... in my boat I move 50 ft with the touch of a button on my trolling motor.

Ugg, unfortunately that seems to be my mentality as well these days. Haven’t been out once this year...I need to get out at least to get the kids out.

A sunrise in a stand or on a lake usually means its going to be a good day. I did a little better, 21 perch and two eyes.

Oneida Lake. Grows monster perch, these were all in the 10-12” range. Some days they are all in the 11-13” range. They just estimated the adult walleye population at one million. Lots of food in the lake so some days the bite is tough.

That's awesome. How long or heavy are those top two?
Those are built like footballs, not the long and skinnier trout we catch in streams around here.

My daughter and I were ice fishing in December. She sent me this drawing of what the fish see from below the ice.
