Nearly burned down my apartment building on Christmas eve (not really, but enough of a scare). Accumulated drippings from a few years of big time grilling has gathered in the bottom of the grill and become a liability. I got the fire put out and made up my mind to get working on an upgrade.
So, here are my needs and beefs with grilling:
*Need to be able to cook large amounts at one time *Tired of dealing with rogue bristles from chinese brushes *Eliminate fire risk *End the madness of the rust out/replacement cycle *Wish I could do more with my grill
If you have a blank slate, what would you get?

None of you guys are giving me the answer I've already settled on in my brain. Where is my affirmation? I feel like this thread isn't complete until Foggy throws some kind of haymaker in from behind the high fence.

Pellet grill. Nothing to rust out and replace.
Pellet grill sear steaks at 500 or slow smoke a pork butt at 225

Biggest pellet grill would be my choice but you are probably leaning towards a solar power George Foreman

I feel like this thread isn't complete until Foggy throws some kind of haymaker in from behind the high fence. So why ask if you've made up your mind? Affirmation. And we need the dues. KBB has a cast iron propane griddle and it is purely amazing. I got to use it a few times and I was sold. Made breakfast for 15 people on it in and quickly. Zone cooking, no more rusting, no more bristles, can now do bacon, veggies, seafood, pancakes, pizza, and have the ability to throw that shit around like a latin fella working at the japenese steakhouse. Also have way more room and even heat.

Skip through this video. You can see the kind of range this thing has. No more rusting, no more open flame.
