What's gas usage like on these things? It's 15,000 btu/hr per burner wide open. Propane kicks out about 92,000 btu/hr per gallon. So a 20lb tank should last you 8 hours of continuous wide open cooking. I used two burners tonight on high for about 20 minutes. So I used about 10,000 btu worth of propane 10,000 /92,000 = .11 * $5/gallon bottle gas = 54 cents to cook 10 servings of steak for work lunch. Jeebus it's gonna be a long winter.

Lol, you could have said; 3 beers cook and the bottle doesn't feel any lighter.

What's gas usage like on these things? Once you taste something from it you won't give a shit how much gas it used. My burger tonight was the best I've had in years.

Went out to the garage this morning. Still smells like burgers and hash browns.

How's the clean up on those griddles? Exactly my next question. How do they clean? I was at Wally world this morning and had some sticker shock looking at them. I really want to build a cook shack for my smoker. One of these would fit nicely in something like that.

Super simple to clean! scrape all the chunks into the drip bin, and wipe it. done.

Real easy. Before first use wash with soap and water. Then season it. When done cooking scrape it down, coat with oil and your done. If you get something that won't scrape off use very little water. Last night I scraped it down, wiped with a oil coated paper towel.

Did u get wrapped up in this chaos and order one too? If so... I was a little ahead of this thread. It was the one thing I asked for for Christmas. My parents got it for me but I left it at their house Christmas Eve. Didn’t have room to load it. I will pick it up this weekend. We eat a lot of burgers and I wanted to get them off my pellet grill because they make a mess. It also is going to look real nice in the grilling shack I built. Speaking of burgers, what is a smashed burger?
