I can't find exact numbers, but I think this is over twice the size of the last biggest bonding bill ever passed. Any city that wants a rec center upgrade, library remodel, art center, trail creation, or a dirty shovel replaced with a silver plated one, it's in here.
I ran out of energy to dig up all the good the governor is doing with someone else's money. All I can say is, move over Europe, MN is gonna be the art capitol of the world.
If you have a half hour to kill, scroll through this list. It's amazing what they can sink into one building or one foot of paved trail (it's $130).

The DNR is giving itself $95 million for office upgrades and repairs. Remember when the guy from LSU only wanted $300k to try to finish his work on CWD?
The proposal also points out that there is a maintenance backlog of $148 million dollars which grows each year by government rates of inflation plus depreciation.
There will only be $80,000,000 going into land acquisition from this bonding bill. Land that isn't placed into SNA's, parks, and easements may be open to public hunting.
Kooch is getting a $21 million dollar art center addition.
Chatfield, a town of 2800 people is getting a payout to complete their $29 million dollar art center. That is an arts investment of $10,357 per resident of Chatfield. You go Glen Cocoa.
Take a shit at the new $8.6 million dollar bathroom and fish guts dumpster at Crane Lake. One township getting $6.6 million. Stu's road... still not plowed.
City of Proctor, a town of 3,000 people is getting an infusion of state cash to build a new city hall to the tune of $4,000 per resident. Give that state representative a statue in front of that building.
City of Scandia, a sleeper with 4,000 people will be able to realize their dream of having a trail to the tune of $1,150 per resident.
