I can't remember the last time a heavyweight fight was remotely interesting to me. If I wasn't such a cheap bastard, I'd buy the PPV of the Fury/Wilder fight.
I hope it's a good fight

I switched over to MMA quite a while back. I had been watching boxing AND UFC stuff for a while but the Griffin Bonnar fight was about the time that I mostly lost interest in boxing. It's been years since I watched a boxing match.

I use to watch boxing with my dad and watched all the Ali/Frazier/Norton/Foreman fights. We use to watch the middleweights also like haggler, Hearns and sugar Ray, fun stuff. Boxing was big in the 70's and 80's but sense Tyson's career ended I've lost interest.
To bad, i use to really enjoy it. My dad and i kept score cards and we were similar with our counts but often differed from the official counts.

I have no idea how fury got off the canvas after getting knocked down in the first fight. I'm interested in this fight, but not enough to pay for it.

I have never watched a fight in my life. Nothing about 2 guys beating the hell out of each other has ever been of interest.
Now a hockey fight! Fuck yea!!!

A combination of plan and skill can make for quite the fight. Typically they end when one fighter gets hurt and the other fighter finishes him. Good boxing is much more technical and way better (IMHO) than MMA as the skill level is much better.

All that aggressive man on man hugging bores me. Now, when Gonzales interferes in a match where Knox is about to put Dakota Kai through a table, and said table no sells the chokeslam, I'm all in. This feud is not over. We're headed for a steel cage in two weeks.

Good boxing is much more technical and way better (IMHO) than MMA as the skill level is much better. I grew up a boxing fan and love the chess match of it. They feel each other out, find a rythm, attack and defend, until like you said someone gets hurt a little then the hope is to finish. I've personally found MMA to more technical and more of a chess match. So many ways to hurt your opponent. By far my favorite matches are when two submission artists get in the ring together. It's a constant string of sub attempts and counter defenses. A good submission guy will lead with 3 or more moves just to set a guy up for a certain hold. It's definitely a "3 steps ahead thinking" game.
