Sounds like you need to talk lies to the hen and piss her off to bring her in.

The Spanish worked for us this morning!! I moved the blind late last night in hopes of changing things up. Proud of this girl, this was the 5th day she’s gotten her butt out of bed. Couldn’t have worked out any better. Gobbling began behind us before we could see them and the look in my daughters eye’s was priceless! I have it on video as well. 10.5” beard, 1 1/8” spurs. Not sure how accurate the scale was but said 26 lbs

Lied my ass off and it didn't work! Ended up crawling through poison ivy and ticks for an hour trying to get close enough before they (2 Tom's and a hen) left a clearing and went behind enough cover for me to make a mad dash to intercept them. I don't shoot turkeys often because I'm usually putting kids and friends on them, but rather enjoyed this afternoon's hunt. Nice to get out by myself and kill something that didn't come straight in.

I can see the pellet holes in the back of his head. It’s bad when you lie to the birds. To shoot them in the back is not forgivable.

Definitely not a back shot (this time, but I would without question). Throw in that I used a shotgun and it's almost not even fair. You would laugh at my decoys... much like the turkeys did.

Nice job Cat! Put the finishing touches on a display for my daughter’s today. Stole the idea of the inter webs but executed myself. The spike on the right is hers from last year.
