I've always figured that some varieties are just super precocious and inclined to bear fruit.

Here’s the Linda Sweet graft that’s got the blossom bud. I’m glad the Baldwin graft took. I gave away my other Baldwin grafts a few years ago and they’re dead. This Colorado Orange graft on my frankentree hasn’t grown much is 2 years. This is a Cox Orange pippin on my frankentree. I was hoping it would bloom tbis year.

Things are looking good on my bench grafts. I believe 28/30 have taken. The two that didn’t were Wickson. Those scions weren’t as good as I’d hoped. I’m going to regraft them in the next couple days. I guess I went hung ho on my N.H. Red Deer crabs. All 6 took and are sprouting. I want to get at least one of those planted in each of my orchards.
