Any idea how much a simple property line fence would be (1000 feet or less)? Installed

3 spools of barbed wire and 70 t-posts will cost $500? Clips and corners will add some cost. Looking at $700ish in materials for a 4 strand if you do it yourself. Shouldn't be hard to find a local handyman looking to make some money right now that can put it in for you. My oldest built a half mile last yr in a couple of days. But there was no brush that needed cleared and he was kept fed and watered on site so no real breaks.

Curious what the purpose is?

Curious what the purpose is? Well I have a neighbor that is Old McDonald x 10. Seems like there is a goat, chicken, turkey or something in my trees by his line every week. His kid drove ATV on my CRP last year (created a nice trail!) He is not a bad guy, but I'd like to make it more difficult for him, his kid, his goats or whatever to go on my property.

A fence is a great idea in that situation.

Quietly dispatch with the farm animals 1 by 1. He'll get tired of buying livestock he can't utilize.

Start driving all over his, he will get the hint. I’ve called him and notified the sheriff. It’s been better since, but animals are still wondering.
