Just called the local place to check. How do these compare to you guys? 44-0-0 ESN (40lbs) $17.10 Pellet Lime (50lbs) $7.65 Triple 19 (50 lbs) $16.75 Gypsum (50 lbs $10.70 Ammonia Nitrate 23-0-0 (50 lbs) $12.60 How many acres of Corn and Beans are you doing? Have you done the math on bagged vs bulk? It might be worth buying or building a container for your trailer and driving to a coop that will mix and dispense it for you compared to bagged. This year I'll do about 7 acres total corn/beans and need about 2000 lbs of material. I'm shooting for 160 BU corn and 40 BU soybeans. Most of my material will be N and K on my sandy soil. This will provide sufficient food on my place to keep deer on it until January Minimum. 1.5 acres of corn. 5 acres beans. Beans don't need much if anything for fert. Gonna put 200 ppa of ESN and 150 ppa of triple 19 down for the corn. Then 250 ppa of pellet lime and gypsum everywhere. There is definitely a convenient factor with bags. I can put them in the mule bed or in a sled. Don't have to do a bunch of trips back and forth a half mile to fill the spreader Evey time

4-20-20 at Fertimix in Jordan MN, was just quoted $18 each if I pick up a dozen. Our ground in my area requires a lot of Dap and Potash the last 2 numbers. We sell a lot of 9-23-30 as a good general fertilizer for everything. then add some 21-0-0-24S and we are good to go here for farming and food plotting.

I need to check my soil samples, but it seems like P and K were high here. Maybe high livestock area with lots of manure through the years? Maybe tied up by lower pH? Maybe I don’t know what I am talking about, but would appreciate anyone’s thoughts.

For $30 you at least know where you are at every 3 years.

I paid $17-$18 for triple 17. I’d take those prices.
