I think it's close to time for them to start dropping fawns. I've never had cameras out at this time of year. I've got a cellular camera on a trail now and a couple does wandering by now and then. I'll admit, I don't even know what's fat and what's not when it comes to deer this time of year. I just haven't watched a lot. I've got pictures of deer but no good profile shots. So, I just don't know.
Who's got pictures of pregnant does they can share?
Batman, I said "DOES" not "HOES", thank you very much.

I don’t run many cameras this time of year. When I do check a card I typically don’t keep doe pics. I should be able to come up with one on my next card pull.

I have all these pictures of does, well a few, and I suspect some have to be carrying. None of them look giant and fat like the pictures google finds for me. Yet, every year, there are fawns. I was just trying to figure out what I'm looking at. Never mind.

Older does really show when they carry. Younger does on my place dont show near as much on my place. If my fawns dont die the first few days the next real stress period seems to be early March.

You typically dont see them for a while as the does keep them in their spots unless they are feeding them. Fawns dont get to cruise with mom until they get their running gear set up properly. I can drive in mid June and pin point where many fawns are in the grass by how the does are behaving. Thats how I find fawns in the preserve and walk up, grab and tag them.

They are probably still only the size of a softball right now.
