Rumor has it that Xylitol cause liver failure in canines. Rumor also has it that if mixed with cheap meat (chicken livers) they devour it. Rumor also has it that it really does work.

I love wolves. Beautiful creatures of nature. You need to understand you are trespassing on their grasses and give them the social distancing they require. And please wear a mask.

In the most recent Wisconsin Outdoor News there was a report of a few dogs suddenly dying after they ate meat that was placed along a gravel road. I'm guessing the dogs just got to the wolf food before the wolves did.
