Check out this nasty attachment. It is like a cross between a chipper and stump grinder and lets you drive right over brush
Skip to 11:40 for a good size tree

^. I watched that video. Seems like a pretty good machine if you had allot of that kind of work to do. OTOH.....I have driven over lots of brush that size with my tractor and brush hog. I do start to get nervous with a steady diet of bigger (2 to 3" ) saplings but a HD brush cutter willl take care of lots of the brush shown in that video. Stilll.....It really muchches the cut brush pretty nicely. Gotta wonder the cost of that one-trick pony tho...... Baumalight makes lots of good stumpgrinders. Wonder if they make anything for the front of an ATV? .

That machine looks cool and could be great for buckthorn. it looks like a light version of those grinders that run on the front of a skid steer.

Yeah, cutting them down is the easy part. The follow up spraying of the stumps and control of the million seedlings per acre is the tough part.
I'd like to see how that attachment works when it hits the hidden stump or rock that you would eventually find.

If it would have the means to collect all the buckthorn debris into some kind of hopper.....to be loaded into a semi trailer or dump truck.....and then go back at it again. AND, it it could paint the stumps with killer.....I think it could be a very viable product. Reg. USPTO. 2020 .
