Looks like the "ice eaters" are not cheap.....at least too rich for my blood.

Ya, the duck hunting ice eaters are out of my price rang. I had considered a floating island with spikes going down for cover. Never considered a dump bucket like the bat suggested.

The youngin said "dad, can I take the jetski fishing?". I said sure (something we had talked about but none of us had tried yet). He tooled off and came back 15 minutes later with a solid 20 inch'r. Grinning ear to ear.

I'm going to have to look into that air loft pump.
No clue the strain. Florida would be nice but I really don't know.

The video reminded me once of when I had to remove my lift pump from my septic tank..... To ensure it was working properly....I set it in a large wash tub and filled the tub with water and then connected the pump (120 volt)....well.....the pump worked just fine! It created a geyser in my front yard in a fraction of a second. It emptied that tub in less than a second and shot it a good 30 feet in the air. That was a cast iron pump so I am sure those are not cheap either.....but again....I'm sure it would move some water once you was able to get it stable. Maybe even a well pump may work.....depending on if/where you got a power supply.
