Feral cats...without going into a lot of details, I trapped a tame male cat yesterday. Ashamedly, instead of shooting the fucker my wife convinced me to "relocate" him. I did so...about 4 miles away. I'll be a SOB of that same fucking tom didn't show up this evening. Again, the wife wouldn't let me shoot it. This time, I took the SOB 10 miles away. Anybody want to bet the fucker shows up tomorrow or the next day? I know it was wrong to dump the fucker somewhere else. I have only been trying to appease the wife.
If I see it again, I'm going to shoot it. I don't care if my wife watches me do it.

Well you have to admire its persistence. Wild cats are one thing, but tame mouse eaters are different around here.

When my wife went to work, it was easy to deal with unwanted critters. Now, she works from home all day every day. She had better learn to look the other way from now on. |

Well you have to admire its persistence. Wild cats are one thing, but tame mouse eaters are different around here. We have one tame, female, fixed outdoor cat. That's all we're going to have. The male I relocated was intact. I will never allow a tame tomcat to hang around and I will not pay to neuter a cat that I didn't want. |

I have shot many stray dogs and cats here. Don’t let the fuckers run and they won’t get shot. People need to be responsible pet owners or suffer the consequences. It’s that simple. I don’t want your dogs chasing or killing my livestock. I don’t want my family afraid of your stray dog. I don’t want your Tom cat fighting with my barn cats. I don’t want your Tom cat pissing all over my buildings marking his territory. I mark my territory with 12 gauge. Just sayin.....

I haven't had to make the decision on a stray dog here and don't want to have to. Stray cats have been numerous and dealt with using a .22 up until this year. What sucks about the cat I've dealt with the last couple days is that it's tame. The thing has a new flea collar. I'm guessing somebody got it during the covid shutdown and now that it's a sexually mature male they don't want to pay to have it fixed...so they bring it out to the "country" and let it go. I don't enjoy shooting tame animals, but if he shows up again that's what's gonna happen. |
