Everything I’ve planted has at least somewhat turned out. Well I can’t say that anymore. The 2” of rain the night after I planted this screwed me. I’ve also over seeded but now it’s been lack of rain. O well. Thank god this never happened when this was my only source of food.

You got blanked by flood and drought in the same plotting season? 2" to start and not a drop since.

I have the same looking plot. I keep overseeding trying to hit rain and I miss every time. The only thing growing is a little buckwheat I threw in and some clover that survived two rounds of round up.

Get the disk out. Work it up and spread some rye, wheat and oats. Couple hours and you will have something growing that is green.

And remember To get your kids out there helping you Brad. You don’t have to do it all.
We got rain yesterday and there was none in the forecast. There’s rain scheduled the next 3 days so I plan to see oats and winter rye today. I bet we don’t get the rain.
