Tactacam has kicked a$$ for me. I'm going through too many batteries... but in all fairness I'm getting over 300 photos a day sent to me instantly so it's likely my fault that the batteries are wearing down quickly.
Missed a call from Alishia at Tactacam to ask if I liked it, then after I filled out a survey she called back to say thanks and that if I EVER had questions or input/advice to give her a call. Very cool to get great service like that!

I put the solar panel on mine. Just got a low battery alert. I’m guessing my batteries are 9 months old.

I'm thinking of getting a solar panel this summer and moving the camera to my mineral site that's in the sun. Right now it's in the forest sitting on a bait pile. Figure batteries will last a lot longer with reduced pics.

With my Cuddlink set-up I have 7 cameras that daisy chaiin all pictures to one HOME camera that transmits all pictures to my computer. As such.....that HOME camera does allot of memory and work. I put an external battery pack with ri-cad rechargeable on that camera along with a solar charger. It's now been running for 1 1/2 years straight. Never an issue and hhe batteries still working good according to the daily reports.

I have all my tactacams on external battery packs that I built myself. I use a rechargeable 12 volt 12ah SLA battery inside. Had one pack on camera that had over 15,000 pics, just shy of being out 1 year. The battery pack was still working, just changed it out because I was there. The battery pack cost about 55 bucks to build, but with cost of AA lithiums,it won't take long to recover cost of the build.

I read an article where the Minnesota DNR may start looking at the use of real time cell cams and immediate hunting on the same day. I don’t know how this will be monitored.

Yep....I'm planning to sit in my little cabin and just monitor my cameras for an opportunity at a buck. Then fire my heat-seeking guided magnum assault gun and drive out to the field for some hero shots with my drones. Fun eh? lol 'Merica.

I will do it in a separate thread. Give me a little bit to look every thing up.

Bearded hen followed by a couple of toms, the one might have a double beard?

Bearded hen followed by a couple of toms, the one might have a double beard? Probably a drag Queen. This world is so mixed up.

Even the turkeys are woke. We've got another bearded lady this spring. My dad shot one last spring.
