Any chance we're getting a second flush of clover? I think I'm gonna plant rye in the bald spots on the lawn today.

I saw clover flushing up yesterday so I’d say in a few days more should pop.

My clover hasn’t stopped. I haven’t had such a solid stand of clover in a very long time. If it lasts into December or later, I might go all clover everywhere. The late summer droughts have been hard on brassica the last couple of years.

My clover is still growing and attracting deer. Right now deciding if I should hunt my clover or corn tonight.

My clover in SE MN went dormant a few weeks ago, but put on some new growth this past week. It will be a few nice bonus calories for the deer and hopefully they stop there during the gun season when I'm perched 20 yards away.

All of my thick Frosty Berseem is gone. Eaten. Poof. I found out the same thing last year. Planted about an acre of frosty berseem in may. Looked beautiful in September. Eaten to the ground by November.

Any chance we're getting a second flush of clover? I think I'm gonna plant rye in the bald spots on the lawn today. You are probably too late for rye. I tried to plant my bare spots a couple weeks ago. Despite the warm weather the frosts have limited it from doing much. It has all germinated but stuck in the purple stage. We have two warm days left so I am hoping it will bolt still.
