I can see a green tag. Must be a high fence slow elk escape? Any high fence slow elk farms nearby?

Yep, when we had the 17 angus running around, the owner tried many times to get them corraled back but they would run into the wooded hills and he was fucked again.
One day he was working in the feedlot and here they came walking down the road. He parked his truck and cattle trailer by a gate to block the road, and they walked right back into the pasture after around 2 months on the loose.
