Who is hunting it?
I haven’t bought a license and doubt I will. My buck tag is filled and can’t see buying a license to shoot a doe.

I will be back out with a bow trying to fill my last management tag. Looking like I have some time to get it done as the weather dosen't seem to want to make ice

Nope. I shut the place down for the year, shutters up, gate locked, and the outhouse is closed.

I’m sitting with the bow rather than giving MN another license fee.

I have a doe tag and could go out with the bow. I am not sure if I want to at this point.
I am going for a drive to check the ice.
My brother in law and his sons we’re targeting in the muzzy’s last week. 2/3 now got the croup plus his wife.

I’m sitting with the bow rather than giving MN another license fee. Same here. I hate this season! Please just a couple bucks hunker down and survive until next year, against all odds!

Our second shotgun season is still going, so I probably won't muzzleloader hunt this weekend. I can tag a buck on my land with a muzzleloader tag, but it would need to be a nice one.
I have more beans and brassicas than last year and the deer aren't hitting them too hard yet. Last year they were gone by the end of muzzleloader season, but that's unlikely to happen this year. I think it could be really good once a cold front comes through.

It’s looking like a pretty good Long term forecast, no major storms. If deer gets into mid to late December with not snow, that makes a big difference.
