As promised (nude), how I sometimes walk to fool a deer into thinking I'm not dangerous.

hmmmmmm....I do similar. But use the arch of my foot as little as possible, trying to put all the weight on the outside part of each foot.

^^^there's some weird dudes on this forum I almost always hit the grunt tube on my way in I don’t need the grunt tube. A few grunts and farts just occur naturally while waddling into the stand. I recently saw a video of Bat and his daughter with a new dance line. Might work, also.

My squirrel walk to the deer stand consists of placing your foot down toe first and scratching in the leaves with that toe before putting weight on the foot.
I also carry a 3 foot stick and stand still and dig at the leaves with the stick mixed with frequent pauses.

I can see what you do sounding exactly like a squirrel... and squirrel sounds never stop in the woods here. Deer ignore them! My dear is surprised by nothing anymore. Plus she kind of enjoys the stalking game.

You guys know why I always see deer when I'm on my property? Granted they're not often mature bucks, but I never spook deer despite being on a small property. I have personally seen a squanch on three occasions and each time, he walked in a very deliberate way, much like an adult buck. They just move consistently, with some haste, and quietly. Not much wasted motion.
I mimick that, and the deer just think I'm the resident squanch out for a stroll.

After 40 years of hunting, I still think a squirrel is a deer at times. I have never noticed the doe, buck difference. Unless of course, bucks are chasing!

So I plan on hunting this afternoon. I thought about walking to the stand as videoed, but it's 19 degrees and i'm not going barefoot the the stand.

This video was a huge let down for me. Ya, I let myself down on this one. Struck out on an opportunity to do something really stupid.

Most recently was taking a picture of bacon and eggs. She just shakes get head and says there sure are some goofy guys on that forum. I said yeah but know there shit about habitat and various other topics.
