I haven´t seen any late season apple pics on here. Art, I know you´re waiting until after muzzy season to poke around. Anybody else have anything to post up?
Having some withdrawals from getting to check trees in an orchard. Assuming it will be a few years for the trees that I transplanted at the new house.
There are some trees I would like to check at the spot i´m bow hunting but want to stick a deer first. Help me out guys, lets see what you got!

I took a couple photos today. Deer were on the lawn 50 yards from my camp deck checking my N.H. red deer crab for drops. There’s still some apples hanging. My NH Gold is still loaded but, I forgot to take photos.

Other than wild crabs, I don't have any trees holding fruit

Other than wild crabs, I don't have any trees holding fruit I know I’ve said it before but, I wish I had a dozen of those trees on the back end of my property. It would be a late season draw for deer. I’ll be too working some more existing trees next spring.

I've grafted a few of each of those. For winter food, I should graft a dozen of each.

A couple dozen of 2-3 varieties of late crabs would bring a deer herd thru the winter. No worries if the state outlaws foodplots, since the crabs would be ‘wild’.

Tank is the other. They cut down LP VFW last year, but Tank is still there (for now anyway). LPVFW has a bit larger fruit than Tank and the fruit is more red in color. Tank has green/yellow fruit with a hint of red on the sunny side. Pillsbury crab mother tree is also loaded right now. My graft of it on Dolgo has grown very well with really nice natural limb structure....but it doesn't hold fruit like the mother tree. I'm hoping that changes as the tree gets older.

I think I have all three. LP dropped it’s only apple before I could try it and something ate it. Pillsbury might be across the ditch. I do not have much fruit this year, but maybe I will go outback and get a few pictures, just for SC’s sake.

Took a pic of my not Whitney tree. It had a few dozen fruits still hanging. I gave it a good shake, they're on the ground now. They'll be gone by morning. There were tracks under the tree, the fruits have slowly been dropping.
