So i dropped one of my battery mount bolts on the wheeler and I can't find it. I asked my brother to get me another from the dealer, and I'm almost certain he didn't do it. The head on the bolt is a 10 mm hex. Is the threading the same between standard and metric bolts, or have the canadians screwed that too? I'd like to get this into a zip lock bag and throw it in the glove box of the soob so this is taken care of before I forget.

They usually give you new one with a new battery. I might have some spares. Give me a few days to see if I can locate where I put them. If I find them I can send you one.

Is it the bolt that hold the battery in place or the one the hold the cable to the battery? I'm guessing its the one that holds the battery in place. It's metric and metric does have fine and coarse threads just like the good ole USA bolts. Go to fleet or menards get one of each with a 10 mm head and you should be safe. To be 100% call the dealer, easy peasy.

I'll see what my brother comes up with and go from there.

Takes too much binder twine to hold down a full-sized auto battery on the back rack with jumpers to the atv battery. Best to just let gravity hold it in place. #JPSknowledge

When I lost my Honda battery posts I just made my own from fleet farm. Cost a couple of cents and made it to fit the battery. They had everthing there.

I broke down and called the dealer. Dude said he's probably got one in the bolt bucket. Headed up there after 5 to see what he's got.
