Anybody ever use it for a screen? Would all the inputs be worth it for a screen?

Anybody ever use it for a screen? Would all the inputs be worth it for a screen? The roundup ready aspect means I can get it to work, and the fertilizer inputs would be about the same? Struggle on and off with screens because of weeds or too much seed.

Would all the inputs be worth it for a screen? The roundup ready aspect means I can get it to work, and the fertilizer inputs would be about the same? Gotcha. After thinking about it, it probably isn't much more or harder to do then anything else. It'd make a hell of a screen as it's some tall stuff. Only thing I'd be worried about is deer using it. At my old place near sebeka the field to the south of me had silage corn planted in it and the deer were all over in it.

I got some MDHA sileage corn from MDHA one year and the deer did not touch it. Could also plant it 50% heavy so ears would not be worth anything.

Could also just plant it late for poor ear development.

Could also just plant it late for poor ear development. Excellent point. Could a guy just plant field corn from Fleet Farm end of June and get the same results?

We have planted silage corn a few times for field screens would work good if deer numbers were low or under control. Fail for us but we have high deer numbers.
