Came home from FL with a wicked headache, body aches, a slight cough, and tired as hell. Throw in two rounds of the shits last night and I figure the odds of my being + are high. The cough dropped into my chest this morning and became harder/more frequent. Figured there's no time like the present to see if horse medicine kills me, makes me better, or does nothing. It isn't very tasty edit...oh yeah, I've taking daily vitamins C and D, and zinc for well over a year. Added elderberry extract a couple weeks ago. Also added nasal irrigation with sodium chloride awhle ago. So much for prevention I have heard of one person getting ill from too much horse wormer. Some have a different prep and I know one guy that used it three times including once lately. . I think it helps. The shits appears to be part of what is going around. I have had cough for 12 days and am now getting over it. It quickly went to my chest to begin with. My wife is sick now, but probably stable.

My daughter caught it from a vaccinated person who lives in the house. The room mate tested positive as well as many of her family after Christmas. Another vaccinated room mate then tested positive. My daughter’s test was negative.
One of the experts on the four hour discussion with Ron Johnson said that vaccinated people seem to be getting it worse. My daughter(non vaccinated) was sicker than her two vaccinated roommates.
Dr Jensen(running for Mn Governor) says there is an Israeli study where previously infected have far better immunity than vaccinated people. He is not able to speak at some meetings in certain metros since he is not vaccinated and doesn’t want to test. His antibodies are high post infection. I suspect he has exposure every week.

It was a leap of faith to take the horse wormer, but I figured I had it and may as well give it a shot. The interwebs are full of stories about people getting sick from it, as well as people getting better. I'm not going to use it daily. From what I could find, it sounds like it takes 3 days to work through your system. I won't take another dose until Tuesday, and maybe not then depending on how I feel. My symptoms started yesterday, and the cough went to my chest overnight or early this a.m. I'm anxious to get back to the days when you get sick and figure "it's just a cold"

My youngest daughter was hacking for about a week, sounded like it was in her chest but it actually never did settle there it just sounded heavier than it was. She felt junky but didn't have the junk that settles in the chest as most can attest to having experienced that.
She slept upstairs twice with me last week, I caught it about last Saturday night. I have taken Zinc, C, D for over a year, I doubled it starting Sunday. I am now completely healthy, odd stuff.
I coughed & even sneezed but it never settled in my chest like my medical history says I've had so many times with a Zpac script I cannot count on 2 hands.

Well, since I didn't get tested (wife looked for at home tests yesterday at a couple stores, good luck with that) I don't know for sure if I am + or not. I do know whatever hit me Thursday wasn't like the "normal" colds I get. I slept over 25 hours in the last two days. That doesn't happen to me, except when I had the flu. This certainly isn't the flu. I woke up today and am feeling much better. Still have a wicked sore throat, but the brain splitting headache is gone. I also still have a cough, but my chest doesn't hurt as much as yesterday. Maybe by the end of the weekend I'll be back to 100%. I'm hoping it is Omicron and that I get some immunity from it.

We had something go through our house in the past 2 weeks and it was a little different than usual and everyone had slightly different symptoms. I'm not sure what it was, but there was a lot of covid at my kids schools. I had several days of sleeping 10-12 hours which is not normal for me. Seems like from the time the first symptom hit until things were back to normal was about 7 days. It went through our area fast, but then seemed to burn out fast. Last week my youngest son's class had everyone back in school from quarantines and that hadn't happened in a very long time. It sounded like most kids had the same symptoms and if you tested most were positive. Not severe in most cases though.

My neighbors up at the lake both came down positive with the Omni virus....and recovered in a few days. They are glad they got it and are over having to worry about getting it. They are both our ages here.....and coming for a visit in ten days. Were kinda glad they are over it too......as my wife is still quite weak from her surgery and doesn't need that to complicate her situation. Been a long go for her recovery.....over 6 month now since her surgery. Getting another CT scan today.

I am 95% over whatever I had but it took about 10-12 days. My wife is ill, but maybe just slightly better.

I really wish this virus wasn't so politicized. I'd like to know if I have omicron or not. I'd like to know if I now have anti-bodies to fight future variants. I'd like to know if the ivermectin I took yesterday did anything or not. Yep....it's a complete freaking guess on anyone's situation. Seems it's different for almost everyone. Gotta wonder what will all shake out after the dust settles on Covid - if it ever does.

My sense of taste is now gone (and I can breathe through both nostrils, I'm not all stuffed up) That pretty much settles it

Lost about 6-7 pounds and I can really tell in walking the hills in Iowa. Also no lung issues, so that’s all good news. Had one guy tell me it took him about 2 months before he could work in the woods like he used to.

I must have somebody else’s, too!
