What did he think of that? He just suggested I get it. Told him it's not going to happen. He said he had it and had no issues. He never really pushed the subject. But I am having second thoughts. Got to ponder it more. You’re in the at risk category. I’d think strongly of getting it. Most of the covid deaths are from people in the at risk.

I'm guessing the earliest it will be available for my wife and I will be late spring/early summer. She has had allergic reactions to vaccines in the past, so she has zero plans to get it. I've read an awful lot of anecdotal reports about getting sicker than a dog after the vaccine, especially after the second dose. I don't believe I'll get the vaccine until/unless we're all forced to do so. You’re in the same age bracket as me. NH is saying the 50-64 range is due for shots in March-May time frame. Maybe sooner if people don’t get the shot. My town of 4,000 has 30 active cases now. 75 total. Not sure how many deaths. Maybe none but, it’s swept in quickly since New Years.

I think it's just a matter of time until we'll all be forced to get the vaccine. I'm guessing towards the end of 2021-mid 2022 we'll be required to show proof of vaccination to do much of anything.
WHO has already stated that it'll be 2022 before we'll reach herd immunity.

My county has 2297 cases and 29 deaths. Total population right around 24,500. The virus is real and it kills plenty of people. Plenty of survivors will likely suffer long term effects. That said, I'm extremely dubious of the vaccines currently being used.

That said the people that are at risk for this disease would be at risk for pneumonia, the annual flu, and many others that kill more people each year.

I'm guessing in the future there will be research showing why some healthy people under age 50 with no co-morbidities get it and die, while other people in their 80s with plenty of health issues get it and are fine in a couple weeks. There almost has to be something to do with DNA profiles.

There almost has to be something to do with DNA profiles. I believe there is data suggesting Rh blood factor (-) may have something to do with immunity. Also saw something recently talking about MMR vaccines helping with covid immunity. If so that may be part of the age thing as anyone who was born after that became common would have that shot. I imagine anyone who has been exposed to a previous coronavirus could have some immunity advantage and that genetics certainly could have an affect.

Back in the day when we were doing fly-in fishing trips, I always brought along a huge package of baby wipes. It was inevitable that someone would get the shits from something (too much fried food usually) during the week. There ain't nothing like having a baby wipe available instead of T.P. for a chapped ass

That's where the ultra soft comes in better them the ultra strong. Better not use any of SD gold bond, using that after the fact would be like sitting in gas and then lighting your ass.

Who knows what's accurate and what isn't anymore Something has reduced the number of cases in your and my county. I don’t give Walz any credit for that. There will be other ups and downs , but weather may be a part of it. Vaccine hasn’t reduced cases at this point.
