We will soon need vaccine to keep our Medicare, regardless of what my two doctors have said. I don't know if the federal government is going to get into vaccine mandates, maybe so. I do know government is doing their best to encourage/make businesses mandate the vaccine. |

Biden has been encouraging businesses to require vaccination for quite some time. Now that he's got an approved vaccine he will go all in with it, but probably stop short of anything but threats. He wants the business owners to take the heat, not him.

Just was told by my pharmacist that our local hospital/clinic has many staff infected with new Delta varient. BOTH vaccinated and UNvaccinated!

Just was told by my pharmacist that our local hospital/clinic has many staff infected with new Delta varient. BOTH vaccinated and UNvaccinated! Now that prizes jab has full approval, I would like to see what the label says. Full approval for what? Old strain or delta, preventing disease, or just reducing illness as compared to non vaccinated. |

Well I am getting shot one tomorrow due to my companies directive. I am not about to challenge my employment. Not a happy fucking camper.

I think I'd look for the J&J shot. Reports are that it is still doing pretty well with the newer variants.

Sounds like Moderna will likely receive full FDA approval relatively quickly too. I don't know if J&J has even applied? I thought I had heard J&J wasn't the best one for males over 50, but I could be mistaken.

Simply to reduce symptoms and to keep most folks out of the hospital if (when) they get it. I'm leaning towards making an appointment for the first shot in the relative near future. I may wait until Moderna also receives full approval. I have no intention of getting a booster 8 months after my first shots. It will be interesting to see if the booster gets pushed down our throats too. |
