. I was thinking about how masks don’t work and then work. How we need two weeks to flatten the curve. How 50% vaccine gives herd immunity. How 70% vaccine gives herd immunity. Now we need 90% for herd immunity. How the vaccine is losing efficacy in Israel. How vaccinated people can now get the disease and spread it, but non vaccinated people are at fault. I no longer know who or what to believe. We have a senile President giving orders and an aging Dr. Fauci giving medical advice. Me either. I spent a fair amount of time reading and researching both sides of the vax debate. The conclusion I came to was that doing so was the right medical decision for me. I don't believe in vaccine mandates or firing people who refuse to get vaxxed. If you don't want to get the vaccine, don't. My wife says she isn't getting it...fine with me. If you choose to get the vaccine, fine....it's your decision. . My wife is more dead set against the vaccine than I am. So many rural/ small town women I know are against the vaccine which is a large contrast to my metro women relatives. Other neighboring women have taken the vaccine and consider it a personal choice versus insisting that everyone get the jab. |

I have a former client who I keep in contact with. There are two brothers, their sons, Spanish speaking labor on the farm as well as a 90 year old Mom. Three locations with over 2,000 cows and contacts between all of the farms.
Anyway, one son works off of the farm. His wife insisted on vaccine for her and her husband. She wouldn’t let Grandpa (one of the 60 year old owners) ,see the kids as he was non vaccinated.
Of all of the families involved, the vaccinated family and kids got sick with covid. So far, the rest of the family has escaped serious illness without the vaccine.
The 90 year old Grandma has heart failure issues and has chosen not to vaccinate. Her 60 year old son says she goes out on the porch and gets fresh air every day. Even on cold winter days, she bundles up and goes out to stand on the porch in the sunshine. I doubt she will live through this winter, but they didn’t think she would survive the summer either.
I don’t know the point of this post, but it is very interesting as to which family group got ill, after vaccine, while others did not. I am sure there was lots of exposure with the constant shifting of Spanish speaking labor.
I also have lots of respect for the 90 year old lady.

I don’t know the point of this post, but it is very interesting as to which family group got ill, after vaccine, while others did not. I am sure there was lots of exposure with the constant shifting of Spanish speaking labor. I also have lots of respect for the 90 year old lady. There's a definite correlation between a life lived outside, among the plants and animals, and a resilient immune system. Where I grew up, the only people that died before 90 were those that ate margarine and smoked filterless cigarettes. Maybe those cows were doing us a favor when they gave farmers a tickle across the face with that shit covered tail? I try to do the same with my paw after I get done excavating the litter box and the old man is trying to eat bacon and watch Erin Holbert. |

The only thing they told me to take when I got it was vitamin D and zinc. I am on an immune system suppressant and asked about the the therapy treatments and was told no. This has turned into a political pile of shit. They guaranteed the fax worked but it has turned out to not work like they said. Turns out you can still get Covid and even die after getting vax. I do know from talking to many nurses 95% of the severe cases are unvaxed and some of those nurses were unvaxed. Mandates are not the answer, they are just driving more people into the never vax category and if they left it up to talking to their doctor they may get it. It’s pretty clear if you are over weight with persisting conditions you should get the jab but it shouldn’t concern anyone else if you don’t.

Did they divide the non vaccinated group into those who previously had the disease and those who did not? Somehow, we need more data on natural immunity post infection versus vaccine. Yep, sure enough. Like I said, it sure would have been nice if we were given unbiased, medically guided information. The preponderance of evidence would suggest that statistically you are less likely to die of severe complications when vaxed. There are no guarantees. If I knew I had Covid in the last 6 months or so, I wouldn't have gotten the vax. It seems like if you can get through the political noise and focus on the science, that having had Covid recently and being "ok" is far superior protection to the vax. I've said it for quite awhile now...there almost has to be some genetic predisposal/marker/whatever to getting a really bad case of Covid. Kind of like the stories you hear about incredibly healthy, active dudes who eat healthy all the time and exercise daily dropping dead of a massive coronary in their 30s. It's all in the genes I absolutely believe this. Genetics and epigenetics has been the hallmark of survival and health since the beginning of time. Genetic factors are the difference between extinction and adaptation. I believe it's a much stronger driver than personal health choices, exercise, or diet. |

It sure would have been nice to actually have medical people without a political bias give us actual science that hasn't been manipulated to achieve an agenda. I know Stu, I honestly feel bad for both sides, both unvaxed, vaxed, & those with honest Vax regret.
Why did they politicize a 'sickness' only for the fact that it was man-made and it could be used for gain but industry wise & political. I despise what it has done to the people of not only the US but the globe.
I will say one thing, it sure exposed a lot of deeper hidden gross things out there.
It should be very open & honest info out there from CDC, FDA, JJ-Pfizer/biotech-Moderna, & VAERS but there isn't. They all conflict then all the other parties & associations take swipes for each side. I loathe the days we live in for the failure of men.
