I bet some of us have a decent amount of books we’ve accumulated over the years. If u are looking for a book and don’t wanna buy it, ask here if someone else has it and is willing to borrow it out. I’ve added another today. I was doing some research over the weekend and came across a dude that claims to earn $250,000/ac on his operation. And he doesn’t have a welder. Anyway, I’ll start in on it tonight.

I have read 4 books since Christmas. All fiction.
Or you could listen to the news, like I said, all fiction!

Some of my habitat books, I've been through so many times, I committed to memory unique adaptations for every cover crop seed they listed. That's why barley is such a big deal.

Kind of want to read Truck which is his adventure trying to restore a 1951 International Harvester

Everything I know about habitat I learned from the inter webs. I did have the food plot book by QDMA. Gave it to a barber. Never saw it again.
Most of my reading these days is something about history.

I enjoy reading the Michael Phillips Fruit growing books. It is targeted to the organic type crowd, but the information is good anyway.

I would be far more willing to lend mine to some of the more long term members here... But most of what I have I would assume many already have or have read and are more for entry level types. I got these much earlier in my habitat and plotting journey....
QDMA Quality Food Plots - Kammermeyer, Miller & Thomas Mapping trophy bucks - Herndon White-tailed deer management & habitat improvement - Bartylla Food plot success by design - Sturgis Whitetail success by design - Sturgis Mature buck success by design - Sturgis
I also have some laughable "beginners guide to deer hunting" types...that are plain worthless.
I also have a shit ton of QW and other deer magazines from several years ago if anybody has a use for them...I will give them to you, but you pay the shipping! I kept them as my kids used some pictures out of them for school projects and the like. I think there is a QW in there about the Pequot, MN QDMA chapter as well - kept that one just for Foggy!

I got a book in MN that was a hunting guide by LL Bean from the 40's. It has about 2 paragraphs for each type of game animal from rabbits to moose and elk. Usually, a new speicies is started by Bean saying: "The first thing you will need is warm Boots". Of course he is the orignator of the "Maine Boot".
Also have some books by George Leonard Herter......such as "How to live with a Bitch". That one got him a divorce. LOL.
Got quite a few good books on the origin or the modern hunting rifles. Jin Carmichael, Jack O'conner, Phillip Sharp, and a few other famous authors in their time. I spent allot of time reading and studying those rifle and cartridge books back in time. Things like the history of the rifle were somewhat boring....but filled with things I needed to know.
