Yep. I cooked this yesterday and had it as a snack. I plan to keep all of the deer tongues from now on. I only had two yesterday and one was from a fawn. So not enough for a meal. I also look forward to getting my hands on an elk tongue the next time I head west. I'll make tongue sammich with a large one. I apologize. I've never had venison tongue, but I am a huge fan of beef tongue. If you ever get down into a really ethnic neighborhood in Iowa where they're overrun by illegals, seek out the mexican joints and have beef tongue tacos. Fantastic! But it has to be a dump. If it looks like a nice clean building, it won't be authentic.
