Looks like it’s within 20 miles of my land now. I didn’t realize that it had spread over NH this much.

It’s all over Ohio. I had 4 trees cut down at my house. One was nearly dead and I expected the others to follow. That was about 7 years ago.
I have 2 neighbors that still have trees that appear to be unaffected. It won’t get them all but it will get most.
I have found several ash saplings at my hunting land. The big trees are dead but the seedlings a coming back.

Lol, at a glance I thought it was Earn A Buck. Wondered why the hell you were in a Generally Infested Area of earn a buck?
Nothing you can do about it is there? Basically your ash trees die?

I dropped a nice ash a month ago to give the deer and rabbits some calories before the emerald ash borer ate them. It is getting hard to find an ash around here without some type of damage. It seems to take several years for them to die though.

I spend a hundred bucks every other year to have my yard ash treated. I like the tree. Cant see starting over with something smaller.

I have quite a few 12-15” dbh ash on my property. They’re spread out here and there. I guess if they die I can target them for firewood down the road. Ash splits straight and easy so it’s easier to manage than birch. They’re usually the last trees to leaf out and the first to drop leaves here so every spring I wonder if they’ll wake up.

Ash is very common in my county in Western MN. I would say in the largest block of woods in my county-800 acres, that 30% of the trees are Ash trees? It will not be good.
