Can you spray the same thing twice or do they go other post emerge then ? Surestart II can be sprayed on corn up to 11” tall. But kills no weeds after they are up. So you could use twice as long it’s less than 11” corn. Spray again for more long term coverage or just go gly typically?

Gly kills stuff that is up and sure start keeps working pre emerge against them

If your object is to spray a pre down and that’s it hoping not to come back on your corn, use Resicore if you can get it at 2-2.5 quarts per acre. No license needed and you will get full season control. Surestart II at 2 pints per acre is not made to be a full season residual chemical.
Edit: This is how both chemicals stack up. You can not just use more Surestart II as you will be off label and may damage your corn.
Surestart II at 2pts = 1.17pts Harness + .59oz Python + 3.1oz Stinger = safe but not full season control in corn. Cost is $11/acre
Resicore at 5 pints = 2 pts Surpass(Harness)+ 6oz Callisto + 5oz Stinger = safe and full season control in corn. Cost is $27/acre

Great info Mo. I wasn't trying to figure out how to spray and not come back. I was just trying to understand what my options are.

Great info Mo. I wasn't trying to figure out how to spray and not come back. I was just trying to understand what my options are. There are many options. When it comes to killing weeds, before they get started and after they are up, you want multiple modes of actions. And with all the weed resistance out there, as high of amounts that are still legal and they won’t hurt the crop. This years crop or next years crop because of carry over. Good luck.
