I went onto YouTube to look at some planter stuff.....and this is the first video that popped up. This guy does a fair to good job of explaining some of my early reloading tools. The OAL Gauge, Modified Cases, Bullet Comparator, and Headspace Gauge (comparator). Most of this stuff dates back over 40 years ago.....and it's still the most popular selling product in this class. Makes me proud. I cannot watch too much of this stuff.....as I get heartburn from all the idiot responses that butcher up the intent of tools like this. This guy does a pretty good job on a difficult "how to" topic.
I am in the process of packing up all my reloading gear and getting it ready for my son-in-law. I have some duplicates.....so I will keep a small part of what I have if I get the inclanation to load a few rounds. But, buy and large.....the hobby holds little appeal to me any more. Time to move on. I mostly have all the ammo I need.....and may buy a box of cartridges for hunting every now and then.
My son-in -law is on the quest to shoot elk at hong range out west. He is bitten by the accuracy bug. Grin......and I remember those times. Anyway here is the stuff I made.

Yup, I still have the Stoney Point shooting stick you gave me and I have killed a deer with it. Just like you, my interests have changed with age and some things are now less important to us and more important to younger people. It is time to pass things on to someone who appreciates and can use them. ( I also feel that Biden and Trump should give up on politics and pass the torch on to younger people, but this comment belongs in the politics thread!)
