They shot their 11th yote tonight on the farm on our south boundary. He said on calm nights the hills are filled with them howling. Cant kill them fast enough I say! Attachments:

I was just thinking this would be a good time to beat back some coyotes. Fresh snow and a nice bright moon down in the 601. I haven't talked to my neighbor recently to see how he's been doing trapping. He normally ends up with 15-20 a season.

Usually my neighbors take between 60-100+ coyotes in a winter. That's with dogs and a couple different groups of hunters. They'll get a couple off mine every year.

We have a group in the area that runs dogs too. They were at around 50 as of a couple weeks ago, but with no snow they struggle. They drive the roads and look for tracks leading into sections then surround the section.
They will not run dogs through our immediate area because the distance between roads is 2 miles from east to west, and nearly 4 miles between roads north to south. He said they would lose the dogs trying to run them into such a large area that they cant surround.
