Add self propelled push lawn mowers to the shortage list. Went to 3 places locally and none of them had any inventory. They all said that they had inventory on order that was suppose to be by them in March and nothing has showed up.

And shower door glass. We put in an order for a custom shower door, because obviously I'm high-class and off the shelf items don't meet my needs. My guy says, "We're having trouble with our supplier...."

The lawn mower shortage isn't due to the Stimulus checks. The manufacturer has not shipped any mowers to the retailers. The big corporations cut way back on production and now their retailers are taking it in the shorts with no inventory.

I dont get it. I know ZERO people out of work, and those that are working are busy as hell. Where the hell is all this work going if there isnt product available? We arent working on imaginary products.

I was just in a local mower shop today. They had several models on the floor along with chainsaws trimmers etc. They even had battery powered mowers for cats.

Here on the northeast loggers are having trouble getting Mills to take their lumber. The log yards are overflowing. Almost like it was planned. The housing market will bust sooner than later if they don’t flip to start production soon. That’ll start the bust. I was at a local hardware store on Sunday. There were several push mowers out side. Didn’t look for self propelled though.

For the first time ever they are cancelling contracts and putting in accelerators on new contracts due to lumber prices and not being able to get materials at all. My sister in law was getting a fence put in, quote went up 4K from last fall for same fence. My buddy has a small equipment store and he can’t get any inventory and what he does get sells immediately. The crash is coming, this can’t be sustained for long. edit-anyone see how fast lawn mower adds appeared at the bottom of the page? Crazy.

Found the lawn mower I wanted. Had to go about 40 miles from home to find one. This place had plenty of inventory but he placed his order with the Manufacturer last winter and took delivery in January.
