 She wouldn’t let the fawns be by her, tonight. It wasn’t a hard chase as I have seen with an old doe and her buck fawns, but she moved them on. |

My cameras were catching a lot of activity two weeks ago. Nothing triggered since then.

My dad was scouting for turkeys today and saw a tiny fawn. This is the earliest we have ever seen one

On the trip up to my land Friday there were a lot of dead deer from car crashes laying on side of road. This usually doesn't occur until mid May. This correlates to my theory that it was an early rut last fall.
