Throwing out some random stuff/pics of things I'm seeing. Not deer or fish but habitat and ecology related stuff. First is the totally awesome dung beetle! This guy pulls.apart crap, roles it into a ball, then buries it in your pasture. Buries it! What better way to fertilize? Other insects that are much more well known... pollinators. KS field guide. Quite a few of these around. I keep track of crap (give it a look when I stumble across some on a run). Looks like coons and yotes are living mostly on insects right now. It shifts at different times of the year. Winter is hair and berries.
See what looks like dust? It was pollen. I've never seen clouds of pollen lift up like that before, but every brome field i checked that afternoon had a cloud lifting up off of it. My running watch buddy is back. I set my watch down so it can find satellites. This gal has been keeping tabs on it for me since last summer. Sometimes she runs up and lays her chin on it. Another reptile that's a sign of healthy ecology is the legless lizard. Seen a lot of them this yr. Also called glass snakes here because if you drop one the tail breaks off.

You get your face up close. That's how I like to view stuff too. Damn near all of my pics are from a foot away from something or less. That's where all the information is found.
