I believe I saw one or two badgers during the 45 years I lived in WI. I see that many or more every year here.

I believe I saw one or two badgers during the 45 years I lived in WI. I see that many or more every year here. Since I started using trailcams back in 2005 this is maybe the 3rd time I have had a badger on my trailcam. Certainly a rarity by me.

Badgers here live in open, grassy areas near/in the woods. Most frequently I see them making dens in sandy/gravelly sidehills along dirt roads.

I see one once in a while. Always like to screw with them some. They can sure ruin a set if you get one in a trap. Dig the whole place up.

I see one once in a while. Always like to screw with them some. They can sure ruin a set if you get one in a trap. Dig the whole place up. I have heard stories of badgers getting in trap and then digging hole. The trapper had to dig hole to get badger out and trap back.
