Since I've opened the canopy here, the amount of wild grape (Riverbank grape) has increased exponentially. I need to snap a pic of a vine that I came across today, just loaded with fruit. On my old place, deer went nuts for the grapes the mornings of the first few hard frosts. The frosts would freeze the grapes and they'd drop from the trees.
I know they can be invasive, but the cover and food they create are pretty impressive.

I've got them thick on my new place. They're all over the place. Makes for some hard walking at times.
