Anyone here have a kick ass grinder? I have a small 400W cabelas grinder. I have to to a lot of prep work trimming and dicing prior to making my burger. I’d like to be able to throw bigger chunks in and know the grinder will churn through it.
If you got one, what’s the make model and size? How do you keep the blades sharp?
Every year I think about upgrading then I don’t. Processing my second doe this month is starting to motivate me.

I've had the Cabelas 1/2 HP commercial grinder for probably 10+ years. I think I got a new blade once for fun. I grind all my meat as frozen as possible. Then it flies through it without issue.

Ground up 15 pounds of burger last night. Spread the meat on a cookie sheet and put in the freezer for a while. Pork fat was even more frozen. Everything worked much better this round.

Frozen is the key, cuts the time in half.
