I am kind of crock pot guy, care to share a few good recipes for venison, pheasant, grouse, turkey...whatever.
Thanks!

The simplest of all.
16 oz regular coke or Dr Pepper 1 pack lipton onion mix 1 venison roast.
Cook all day and shred. Its not a 5 star dinner, but its pretty darn good.

I usually just brown meat and throw everything in crock pot for a few hours.

Take a venison roast throw in crockpot, put about 2 inches of water in crockpot. Add a couple packets of lipton onion soup and a cut up onion. Cook on low all day. About an hour before you are going to serve throw a bag of baby carrots and some cut up potatoes. Complete meal in a crockpot. You may have to add a little water during the day. The meat will just fall apart.

This will change the way you think about deer shoulder. I used to grind them into burger. Since my grinder is small, I would do a lot of trimming and that was the longest part of my butchering process. No more of that! Now I just throw a shoulder roast in the pot and follow this. honest-food.net/barbacoa-recipe-venison/

Love the crockpot and my pressure cooker. There is never a tough protein when using either of these two tools!
