Really love my Ego 14 inch!!!!
Torque galore.

i've had an ms250 with a 16" bar for over 15 years. it's been perfect. if i was going to go for a bigger saw, i'd look at a professional series saw, but, $$$$$$$$$$$.

My 250 gets the job done. For small jobs it's hard to beat a 12" electric saw though. I'll turn in my man card first thing in the morning.

A lot of arborists are switching over to battery saws for tree work. Quieter, can be used in the fire season ( some western states shut down gas sawing in hot weather), quicker cutting because they don’t have to start and stop the saw as much. They’re using battery backpacks for longer run time. August Hunicke is a believer now.

I've got a Stihl MS180 too.....and it does about all that I ever need. Don't have a "big" saw anymore. I do use My EGO saw quite a bit. I have two batteries and also have the hedge trimmer. I prefer the electric for small jobs. Don't need muff's with electric either.
Edit: We bought the hedge trimmer first in order to cut back our grasses and shrubs around our house each year. Saves ALLOT of time and work for us. As we had a battery from our EGO Blower and Trimmer.....I bought the bare saw. Seems two batteries and two chargers do allot of work for us. That blower kicks ass. Love it.

Reg Coates is probably considered the best out there. He does dead 200’ trees that are in tight locations near roads, buildings or fences. He usually works alone. Buckin Billy does the best on directional falling from the ground but, he also goes way up high to cut tops out. He likes using old antique saws.

I've got 2, 180Cs. Both have been put to a lot of use. I'd buy another one if both of these died, but I would have to check out a battery saw first.
