I got all the leftover roundup ready corn seed last fall from the Pheasants Forever/SWCD office program.
I posted this last fall, but I cannot recall who all responded that you wanted some.
I have about 20 bags if I recall. they are in 20 lb bags(about 1 acres worth).

Yesterday afternoon, the dang turkeys were in the corn. The deer moved in around 3:30.
This morning, when I left the dog out of the kennel, 14 deer left the corn. About 8 AM, approximately 2 dozen pheasants headed to the corn. There isn’t much corn left, but they must be finding something.
Plant corn if you can do it, for winter survival.

I planted and left about 2 acres of corn this year and I'm impressed. It appeared to be cleaned up in January, but they kept digging through the snow picking up leftover kernels. As the snow melted I was surprised by the large amount of corn left on the ground. There is still lots left and the local turkeys and pheasants are hitting it hard still. I'll definitely plant more corn again this upcoming year.

I would take some, BUT I won't because the price of fertilizer is to high to get a decent crop for wildlife.

yeah the cost of fertilizer has me really rethinking putting in the 4 acres of corn I was going to, last year was beans, think there would be enough residual N to get a good crop?

What yield did you get from your soybeans? If you have good soils and had a good yield of soybeans you could get 30-50 lbs of nitrogen. If you have sandy soil maybe 20 lbs.
