From the rye cover crops to the alfalfa and clover, per the sign and tracks. The clover mixed with alfalfa is more green than the straight alfalfa. Clover is along the tree line and in the lower corner,

I walked two sides of the field looking for fresh gopher mounds and noticed that two scrapes out of the 8-10 along the field were being used. The two scrapes with fresh tracks are side by side. I imagine the licking branches are what is attractive since no dirt is being kicked out. The question always is, why these two scrapes and not others? No fresh gopher mounds!
