Dems are better at campaigning. They keep it simple and emotional. Last presidential election - "Anyone but Trump!!!" This election - "Women's health! Don't let them set us back 50yrs" and "It's a global recession, nothing to do with dems". Use emotion to lead the charge and to neutralize valid talking points.
Republicans are horrible at countering. It's like watching the breakdown after a timeout and the whole team just kind of walks away. No energy. Don't know why there isn't a bulletpoint of things biden has done to hurt fuel prices and cause inflation. Stuff like this should have been on a Powerpoint for every Republican in the nation to drill into the citizens. Non-bionary - Every woke person is on the hunt to find or be one. Got to show how accepting they are to their friends and raise their status. I really don't care what a elected person to office in a state half the country away has between their legs. I find it odd that people feel I need to be told about it. That kind of stuff used to be private. Yep. People respond to emotion, not to logic. I partly blame the media for that.

Yep. People respond to emotion, not to logic. I partly blame the media for that. Social media and MSM have an incredible impact on people. Especially people under age 45 or so. Guess who voted huge in the mid terms (thanks to mail in ballots)? Young people. The Republican party needs to get on the ball and figure things out. They've already got plenty of votes from older white guys with average to above average net worth.

OK....so MN now has the first "non binary" person elected to office. I do not know what a "non binary" person is......so I went to Wickapedia. WTF is wrong with these people?.....and why are we electing them to office??? More every year. I just do not know what to think. This is simply ludicrous to me. The inmates are now gonna run the institution?? Fug it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-binary_genderThe Minneapolis city council is full of freaks. They check a lot of boxes. It's scary. No wonder that place is a shithole.

What if the choice isFetterman or Newsom? I'm anticipating a Newsome v. DeSantis race. Whether that's in '24 or '28, I don't know.

If Kari Lake comes back and wins, I’ll feel better about this election. The remaining votes are supposed to be 60-70% for Lake … but she running against the gal in charge of the election.
If she loses, that will be a major major scandal as the vote process was a complete disaster in Arizona .
Also note the Republicans are ahead in Nevada, but they just keep adding more votes ? So odd. If that turns Blue—it will be a farce .

Remember the good old days when you would go to bed knowing whom was elected.

Just watching the caliber of folks elected......and the "priorty items" on the Democratic adjenda........and this stage is so screwed going forward. The clowns ttat have been elected are hard for me to beleve. F'n Watz and F'n Democrats have got MN by the short hairs. It will be a long time before sanity returns. Likely I will be gone. So glad I am no longer a resident here. Saw it coming.......not much can be done when so many illegals and immigrants have flooded this state.....and took control. Alls was complicet with the DFL. What a crock. Ruined a once-great state IMO. Folks will ay a huge price before this can be changed. HUGE.
Edit: What is hard for me to comprehend.....is that the suburban population has voted for this bullchit. WTF are metro people thinking? Sick MFO"s.....IMO.

What has surprised me is how Arizona has turned purple. Are they just a few years behind Minnesota?

Arizona is not even close to the nuts in Minnesota. The culture in Arizona is not one of silencing varying opinions and from what I have seen there is allot of old fashion values in the state. States like Minnesota have been on this Ultra Liberal path for a long time (this is not by accident). The liberal establishment chose Minnesota years ago and has built a very liberal system here that self sustains (not by accident). I'm hoping the country moves to the middle as most of us would like the Ultra-political spectrum to not run our lives.

Minnesota and Minnesotans are great...except for a few places where all the assholes and liberal politics reside. This is why outstate Minnesotans don't like Citidiots. Like it or not, if you live in the metro you're perceived as being part of the problem.
I'm seeing the issue here as an urban vs. rural citizen one. The same thing can be seen in many states if you look at the voting maps. That just shows me that when you put a bunch of people in one area it is much easier to control them via groupthink. Humans aren't genetically designed to live in close proximity to each other. I doubt rural Minnesotans are much different than rural folks in most any other state.

Stu, at least you and I are not designed to live in close proximity to each other. I agree with a lot of what Freeborn said but would substitute ‘Metro Areas’ for Minnesota in his post. I suspect Rural Wisconsin versus Madison/ Milwaukee is very similar to Minnesota situation. Probably Pennsylvania also.
